Tesla plans to launch several models in the coming years. They’re in various stages of development.
Deliveries of the semi-truck are scheduled to start in December.
Elon Musk says an electric pickup truck, sports car, and self-driving taxi will follow.

Tesla currently sells four models, but Elon Musk has grand plans to launch a range of new vehicles in coming years.

The company is working on a semi-truck, a cyberpunk pickup, and a supercar, and Musk has mentioned several other potential projects. Many of these vehicles have already faced long delays, and there’s no guarantee they’ll all see the light of day.

Tesla revealed the Semi in 2017 with lofty goals to revolutionize long-haul trucking. Now the company plans to deliver the first trucks to Pepsi in December, three years behind schedule.

The Semi, which will be built at Tesla’s factory in Nevada, will be able to travel up to 500 miles on a full charge, Tesla claims. It promises to recoup 70% of its range in 30 minutes when plugged into a fast-charger.

Jeep is getting ready to introduce a fully electric Wagoneer SUV in 2024, but Jeep hasn’t decided what it will be called. Right now it’s codenamed Wagoneer “S”, but Jeep wants everyone’s help to come up with a better name.

Starting today, Jeep has launched a new contest to name the electric Wagoneer. Jeep fans can submit their suggestions to http://www.namethenewwagoneer.com to name the all-electric Wagoneer. A grand prize ski trip to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for four will be awarded to the fan whose name submission is chosen. The grand prize includes airfare, lodging, lift tickets, rentals, guide or instruction and a $1,000 gift card to the retail store (valued at a total of $40,000).

You can submit your name suggestion from Wednesday November 23, through Friday, December 2, 2022. The name has to be 50 characters or less and the contest is only eligible for permanent legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) and at least the legal age of majority in their state of residence.

Following the announcement of its Formula 1 entry at the end of August, Audi’s confirmation of its strategic partner marks the next milestone in the company’s entry into the premier class of motorsport.

With around 30 years of competitive experience, Sauber is one of the most renowned and traditional teams in Formula 1. While the power unit will be created at Audi’s Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg an der Donau, Sauber will develop and manufacture the race car at its site in Hinwil (Switzerland). Sauber will also be responsible for planning and executing the race operations.

“We are delighted to have gained such an experienced and competent partner for our ambitious Formula 1 project,” says Oliver Hoffmann, Member of the Board for Technical Development at AUDI AG. “We already know the Sauber Group with its state-of-the-art facility and experienced team from previous collaborations and are convinced that together we will form a strong team.”
