Old Ford India Endeavor SUV modified on video

Here is a modification video of the old-gen Ford Endeavor; Gets massive alloy wheels, blacked-out windows, Gunmetal Matt-Grey Paint Scheme and more; The blue oval ie Ford exited from the Indian market in September 2021.

Almost a year after Ford closed its operation in India, the vehicles from the blue oval are a common sight on the roads. Although the American brand has exited the country, it is still providing services and after-sales support to its loyal customers. The owners of Ford vehicles are still reaping the benefits of their investment to the fullest and we have come across a very special Old Generation Endeavor.

Let’s take a look at the modified SUV in a YouTube video by ‘Arun Panwar’. The Endeavor in this video is a 2013 4X2 model and costed the owner Rs. 24 lakhs. Old-Gen Ford Endeavor Modified: What’s special?

Talking about the modification, the SUV has got a custom dual-tone black-matt gray finish. Upfront, the stock grille gets a black paint job flanked by smoked headlamps. The SUV came with white paint from the factory. In the customization job, it has been wrapped in Gunmetal Matt Gray finish and the cost of this wrap is close to Rs. 31,000. Towards the sides, the SUV sports massive 22-inch alloy wheels shod with low-profile road-biased tires. Apart from this, the complete window line at both sides along with A, B and C pillars gets a matt black finish with tinted glass area. The stock tailgate-mounted alloy wheel with two faux antennas completes the rear profile of the modified SUV. Having a look at the roof, we can spot two shark fin antennas and one is them is definitely functional.

Inside the cabin, the SUV features orange shade upholstery and the same is carried to the pillars. The dashboard remains unchanged however the SUV is fitted with a new Android-based touchscreen infotainment system. Other than this, the owner has removed the last row of seats and the space is occupied by a woofer unit.

Old-Gen Ford Endeavor Modified: Details

When asked about the scheduled maintenance of the SUV, the owner shares that the SUV is serviced regularly at the Ford authorized service center and costs around Rs. 12000-13000. Apart from the regular service, there has been no extra mechanical work done in the SUV, claims the owner. For reference, the SUV has only done 68000 kilometers.

The old-gen Ford Endeavor was offered in two diesel engine options. The 2.5-litre diesel engine churns out 141 bhp and 330 Nm of peak torque while the bigger 3.0-litre unit is good enough for 154 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The former was only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission and while the latter was paired with an automatic gearbox.
